Secure and data protection-compliant video conferencing with Cisco Webex

Video conferencing is also being used more and more in the public sector. IT security and data protection play a central role in the selection of a suitable video conferencing client.

Many authorities are therefore opting for the Cisco Webex cloud platform, which is considered a highly secure video conferencing tool thanks to its end-to-end encryption and server locations in the EU. Cisco Webex has extensive functions for online meetings, as well as calendar integration and numerous interfaces to third-party applications. With its own range of room systems, Cisco also offers the right hardware for conference rooms of any size. Zoom as a video platform for boards and committees

In addition to Cisco Webex, the Zoom cloud platform is also suitable as a secure video conferencing tool for hybrid or digital meetings. By adapting to European data protection standards, Zoom has been classified as secure for use in committees by the gpa NRW and officially approved for local authorities.

This provides users with a feature-rich video conferencing tool that offers many features for webinars and hybrid meetings with up to 1,000 participants.
